LIFE AS AN ADVENTURE

‘TRAVEL’, what comes to your mind when you hear the word?  Most of you would think of a really grand 5 star resort with luxuries and then going to all the touristy spots in a really good car, click some really cool instagram worthy pictures and then be back to your mundane life.

Have you ever thought of travelling as an adventurer to venture out into the unknown and unseen places like the streets of the city, to go into the random restaurants and try out the dishes whose name hasn’t even been heard of, to go to a forest and camp there or be in an open desert and camp at nights and keep moving till the sun sets on a camel with no network or any kind of lavish things around you to keep you entertained.

Ever thought of going to the amazon jungle and staying with the tribes to learn their culture, food habits, their lifestyle and discovering all the unknown beauties of nature around you like the huge caves or the beautiful waterfalls or going to a barren island which is of the size of your school campus in the middle of a sea and camp there with bonfire, sing songs and shout like a crazy banshee or maybe just sit on the coast gazing at the ocean and thinking of how big the world is, or just lying down on the coast and looking up at the beautiful array of stars covering the sky with the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep.

Even when we go on a road trip we plan each and every detail to the best, ever thought of just going to a road trip without a destination, just turning wherever you like and just going along that road with the wind blowing your hair off and you not even knowing where you are going, where you would be, what kind of people would be there, what kind of shops or when will you return. Just embarking on an adventure like a curious soul and an open mind, capturing the beauties of the nature and even the anonymous streets and the unfamiliar cafes.

 All of these are the ideas of what I think when I hear the word ‘TRAVEL’. A short word with so much meaning in itself.

I want to live my life as an adventure and that is when I will feel as if my life is complete and I have accomplished everything I ever wanted .I don’t want my life just like everyone else a- graduate degree then a 9-5 job then get married have kids and be old and then die .

I want my life as a journey, an adventure. I want to embark on a journey to try something new something different.
